Chongqing Astronautic Bashan Motorcycle Manufacturing Co. Ltd is mainly a manufacturer of motorcycles, which incorporates research, manufacturing and marketing of motorcycles, ATVs, engines and their parts. Located in Huaxi Industrial Park in Banan District, Chongqing, Bashan Company occupies an area of 100,000 square meters, capable of producing 100,000 ATVs, 600,000 motorcycles and 1,000,000 engines per year.
The Company has always followed the principle of “making good-quality products through efficient management, and expanding market by creating famous brand”, and spared no efforts to realize the aim of “good starting point, high standard and high quality”. It has passed the quality system certification of ISO 9001:2000, EU II and EU III. Meanwhile it has also passed the examination of production entry by the National Development and Reform Commission. Furthermore, “Bashan” motorcycles and engines have passed CCC (China Compulsory Certification), and some types of motorcycles, ATVs, engines have passed E-MARK of EU or EPA of America. Besides it has obtained more than 100 invention and utility patents.
With a comprehensive system of before-sale, on-sale and after-sale services, “BASHAN” products have been exported to over one hundred counties and regions. Its gross sales reached 0.65 billion yuan in 2006; it earned foreign exchange US$99,360,000 in 2007; and US$104,150,000 in 2008. In recent three years, it has paid taxes of 80,910,000 yuan totally. For three years continuously, “BASHAN” Company has been enlisted as one of the Top Thirty Exporters in Chongqing by the local Government. As an honor, some of the products have been awarded the title and certificate of "Chongqing Famous-brand Products" and "Chongqing Well-Known Products". In 2008, BASHAN brand has been appraised as one of Hot Selling Export Brands with Chongqing Government Support, and will be granted the title of “China Prestigious Products” soon.
